Born August 4, 1946, Camden, New Jersey
I design and construct clothing and accessories using antique and ethnic textiles employing patchwork and collage technique. Occasionally, I use painting and embellishment such as beading and embroidery.
Jeanne R. Walton has been making wearable art since the 1970s. She fashions clothing and accessories from antique textiles, often utilizing a patchwork style. Walton graduated from the Philadelphia College of Art in 1971 with a Masters in Education. Her soft sculptures have appeared in Nursing Magazine. She has exhibited with the Bucks County Art Alliance, and is a member of Artsbridge.
