Teachers and Influences
Isabelle Stewart at the Newark Arts High School, Leopold Matzal at the Newark School of Fine and Industrial Art, L. Lent at the Tyler School of Art, and C. Koppelman at the School of Visual Arts. Klapholz studied with Georg Grosz for three months in1949, and later studied drawing with Eugene Karlin in his studio in New York.
