"Instead of living within nature, we want to dominate and rework it. We should spend more time trying to coexist."
-Kevin Forest

Kevin Forest was raised on his family's vineyard and winery in Buckingham. It was there that he developed a lasting relationship with the natural environment. He works in metal, wood, and other "found objects," and finds much of his inspiration in environmental concerns. Forest earned a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Penn State University. In the Spring of 2000, he decided to follow his dream and enrolled in a sculpting class at Bucks County Community College . Within months, his work was accepted into a juried show. He was awarded first place in the 2004 Bucks County Sculpture Show for his piece Mr. Walker Said. He has also been involved in many exhibitions, including the Phillip's Mill Annual Art Exhibition and the Ellarslie Open at the Trenton City Museum. His piece, Sailing by the Moon, is in the permanent collection of the James A. Michener Art Museum.
