George Radeschi

Wood turner George Radeschi creates elaborate inlaid vessels from a variety of exotic and domestic woods. His process is painstaking, demanding as much as 300 hours to create a single vessel. He pieces together intricate patterns, made of hundreds of individual pieces of wood, gluing them, and finally turning the piece on a lathe.

Completely self-taught, Radeschi credits the art of ancient cultures, from Greek to Native American, as the inspiration for his designs. His work has been exhibited at several museums in the region, and he had a solo exhibition at Michener Art Museum in 1995. His work can be found in the permanent collections of the Michener Art Museum in Doylestown, PA and at the White House in Washington D.C.

Colleagues and Affiliations
Radeschi has exhibited at the Bucks County Sculpture Show, the Phillips' Mill Annual Art Exhibition, and the Michener Art Museum. Bob Keegan and George Antonisen are colleagues. His wife, Loretta Radeschi, is a writer.
