Gary Saretzky is a photographer focused on a wide range of interests, including portraits, landscape, street photography, photograms, and musicians during performances. In his photographs of blues musicians, he tries to capture the intense emotion from the musicians. His photographs have been exhibited in numerous solo and group exhibitions in New Jersey as well as Pennsylvania.
Influences include Saretzky's mother and fellow photographer ,Anya Westermann Saretzky, as well as photographers including William Henry Fox Talbot, Carleton Watkins, Alfred Stieglitz, Dorothea Lange, Minor White, Henri Cartier-Bresson, Andre Kertesz, Robert Frank, W. Eugene Smith, Josef Koudelka, Josef Sudek, Bruce Davidson, Alex Webb, Louis H. Draper, Louise Rosskam.
